  • ZEETV NATIONAL LEVEL SCIENCE QUIZ COMPETITION

    Congratulations to Rohan Ganesh of standard 6 on securing All India rank 2 in Zeetv mindwars – a national level science quiz competition conducted by Zeetv for children across India for classes 4-10.

  • English Asset Exam 2021

    Aditi Arvind of Std X has secured the 1st rank in the English Asset exam (a diagnostic test by Education Initiatives, a top Edtech company)from among 4,500 schools in the country. She received a cash prize of Rs 50,000. During the award ceremony, our school was featured as being among the top 50 schools across all boards which took the exam.

  • MHRD KALA UTSAV 2021

    Our student H Abhinav Shankara won the 1st place in District level and 3rd place in State level solo dance competition (Kala Utsav) organised by the Ministry of Human Resource Development.

  • Achievements of Sai Sanjay Narayanan

    Sai Sanjay Narayanan of class XII (2019-20) was declared successful at the Indian National Mathematical Olympiad-2020, conducted by the Homi Bhabha Centre for Science Education (HBCSE).

    He also cleared IIT Advanced 2020 and got admission into IIT Madras B.Tech programme.

  • Bharatanatyam Guinness Record

    Students of Std VIII and Std IX participated in Sathir 10,000, the largest Bharatanatyam Guinness Record event organised by the Tamil Nadu Tourism Department, in February 2020 at Gowrivakkam SIVET College.

  • Robo Cup Junior National level competition

    J Sharan, Karthik Sriram, Harish Srinivas of Std  VIII and Varun Chandar of Std IX participated in Robo Cup Junior National level competition held in Bangalore in January 2020 conducted by Indian Robo Cup Junior Foundation and won the Best TeamWork Award.  

  • Chess

    P Srikrishnan of Std IX secured the third place in the West Asian Games conducted in August 2019. He secured the third place for India in the Nationals and the fourth place in the International games conducted in September and November 2019 respectively. He secured the first place in the school championship and the second place in the one day rapid chess tournament conducted in November 2019 and January 2020 respectively. He is also the winner in the Under-17 Open Chennai District Chess Champion for the year 2020-21. He received a rolling trophy for the same.

  • Abhinandh PB – Achievements in Table Tennis

    Abhinandh PB of Std VII secured the third place in the National table tennis tournament and the second place in the Zonal table tennis tournament conducted at Bhavnagar, Gujarat in October and November 2019 respectively. He led the Tamil Nadu team at the National level and won three gold, one silver and one bronze medal in the table tennis tournament- Under- 12 category, conducted in Dharamshala in November 2019. He also secured the first place in the All India Championship in the singles category in Dharamshala in November 2019. He has been invited to play in the International match in Italy and Tunisia in March 2020.

  • Pradhan Mantri’s innovative learning programme, ‘Dhruv’

    Anirudhh Shankar of Std XII was selected for Pradhan Mantri’s innovative learning programme, ‘Dhruv’. He attended the ‘Launch Function’ at ISRO Bangalore in October 2019 followed by a workshop on Music at Delhi from the 12th of October 2019 to 24th of October 2019.

  • World Schools Debating Championship 2019

    PrithviArun, student of Std XII, was part of the five member Team India that represented the country at the World Schools Debating Championships held at Bangkok, Thailand, this year. The team was chosen from over 1000 applicants from all over the country. Team India won the Championship for the first time and also the Queens Cup specially instituted by the Queen for this achievement. The team also received the trophy as the Best English as Second Language Team. Teams from around 65 countries participated in this year’s championship tournament.

  • SILAMBAM

    Nishant T K of Std III and Sudhakar T K of Std VI won the Jetlee Book of World Records for his eight and a half hours performance at Veera Thamizhar Silambatta Kazhagam held at Sirkazhi in May.

  • Kala Utsav 2018

    Anirudh Shankar of Std XI received the first prize in the District and State level vocal music competitions held in Trichy, organised by the Ministry of human resource development MHRD Kala Utsav in October. He also won the first prize at the National level held in Delhi. He was awarded a trophy and a cash prize of Rs.25,000.

  • World Scholars Event 2018

    Kanghanaa Karthik of class VI A won a gold medal & two silver medals for debate & quiz competition in the World Scholars event that concluded at Yale University in November.

  • International Teenage Design and Art Award

    Nikita S of Std.X was awarded the second place at the 2018 International Teenage Design and Art Award conducted by K- Art International Exchange Association in Korea in August.

  • Pride of Honour Award

    As First prize winners of Inter School Open Group Bhajan Competition conducted by Thamizhnadu Brahmin Association Mandavali Unit last year they gave “Pride of Honour Award” for our school.

  • Asia World Schools Debating Championships (AWSDC)

    Amrithavarshini Raghavan of std XI was chosen to be a part of the four member team that represented India at the Asia World Schools Debating Championships (AWSDC) held in Bangkok, Thailand in July.

  • Bhakthaswara Open Group Bhajan Competition

    Our School won the first prize in the open group bhajan competition organised by Bhakthaswara Bhajan Mandali at Bharathiya Vidya Bhavan in which 32 schools participated.

  • Best Interact Club -Zone 2 Award

    The Interact Club 2014-15 received the best Interact Club -Zone 2 Award from the Rotary Club of Madras

    Sairam institutions organised Kalam Leo-Muthu Education Award 2022 for school teachers across Tamilnadu.
    Mrs. Malini Manivasagan won Dr PC Ray best chemistry teacher award and Mrs. M Lakshmi won Mendel best botany teacher award. M Lakshmi also received a cash award of Rs. 25000/-.
