The primary department of the school celebrated Children’s Day on 16/11/2009 at the Russian Centre for Science and Culture. The cultural programme which saw the participation of nearly 100 students started with a speech by the students on children’s day. This was followed by colourful fashion show integrated with 6 traditional dances from 6 different states in India. The students beautifully showcased the variety in culture and traditions across India. The dance was followed by choir music which addressed the issues on child labour, child rights and the environment. The programme was held at the Russian culture centre, commemorating 2009, as the year of “Russia in India”.
