Young Learners' Exam

  • Young Learners' Exam (YLE) for aptitude in English is a programme organised by the British Council in collaboration with Cambridge University.
  • Children from Class VII participate in this programme

News Paper in Education

  • The Newspaper in Education Programme (NIE) organized by 'The Hindu' is conducted regularly for the students VII to IX to train them in the use of newspaper for activities like Crossword puzzle, reading and writing, and dramatics.

Skills For Adoloscence (SFA)

It is a programme organized by Lions Quest. It addresses the needs of adolescents. Topics like Communication, emotion, Decision making, Leadership, Life skills, Peer pressure and Addiction are discussed.

Personality development classes are conducted by Dr. Jayanthy Srivardhan to improve

  1. the students' communicative skills
  2. to manage stress
  3. to improve public speaking
  4. to instill confidence in them.

Senior Secondary

Inter -School Culturals named as SMARANEEYAM is conducted every year successfully. Many school students participate in the various events like Quiz, Adzap, Crossword Puzzle, Interview, Poster Making, Fashion designing to name a few.

Various competitions are conducted for Sankara school children named as Intra-School Culturals (Talent Fest) to develop competitive spirit and encourage their talents.

The students publish News Letters twice a year bringing across various happenings in the school, Competitions participated ,prize winners list etc. Thus parents and well wishers are informed about the achievements of the students.

Project exhibitions are organized every year to bring forth the talents of students. The exhibitions are appreciated by visiting school students, teachers and parents.
